One day, a thought struck my mind about why most African mothers (especially the Nigerian ones) behave alike when dealing with their children and also, have almost the same kinds of facial expressions and reactions to various situations and occurrences? Then, I decided to act as one and take pictures while doing it, mimicking my mum in it. LOL. That woman ehn, she is a great character that deserves an award for being an African mother 😁🙌.
Hi readers! Good day to you all. I hope I meet you all well. Longest time oh!
*clears blog cobweb*
Been too busy to blog. I have been devoting most of my time to my business (BeAdorned! by Yettie) lately but I got the chance to blog today. So, here we are!
*clears throat* I could remember vividly when we all slid into year 2016, with peace and harmony (I guess) not until when some set of people started tampering with the spirit of peace and new year vibe we were basking in.
Good day to you all and thank God it’s Friday! Woohoo! Fridays are just like Nigerian Jollof, they bring forth this ‘on top of the world’ feeling that I can’t even explain. May we live long to witness more of Fridays. Ameen.

Hello readers. Good to have you on the blog again. I’ve been really busy and occupied with lots of things lately but still trying hard to balance those responsibilities. I believe that with God, everything is possible. Thank you for always taking your time to read my posts, it means a lot to me.
So, it happens that I’m so in love with my fellow Nigerians and their funny ways, God knows! LOL. Have you ever been to a Nigerian party or ‘owanbe’ as it is widely called before? If yes, you would have experienced some funny struggles and hustle for food at some, especially the ones that the caterers/servers are literally angry with all the guests and refuse to serve people or those ones that are planning to loot all the party goodies thereby restraining the proper circulation of food.
First of all;

I’m sure you guys know that we Nigerians are very funny and wonderful people bhet we are badt laidat *tongue out*, when they say something, I bet it, the statement is not what they mean. They can tell you that your dress is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen and for your own mind, you go dey feel fly, I pirry you, your dress has just been compared to a pot of cooked weevil-infested beans or a pit latrine to make matters worse! Chisos is Lor! Naija people are just bunches of savages that can ‘roast’ and mock people with the most beautiful phrases in the world. These words are called ‘compliments in disguise’. Hehe.
